1. Who we are

GenGuru ("we", "us") is an AI-powered video generation service available at genguru.net. Contact: info@genguru.net

2. Data we collect

  • Account data: email address, password hash (bcrypt, never stored in plain text)
  • Payment data: payment transaction amount and sender email, for credit top-up processing. We do not store card numbers.
  • Content data: text prompts, generated images and videos you create on the platform.
  • Usage data: if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects page views, feature usage, and a Google-assigned client identifier.

3. How we use your data

  • Providing and improving the service
  • Processing payments and crediting your account
  • Sending transactional emails (email verification, password reset)
  • Preventing abuse and fraud

4. AI processing

Your text prompts and images are processed by third-party AI providers. These providers have their own privacy policies. We do not share your account information with AI providers — only the content you submit for generation.

5. Data retention

We retain your account and content data as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing us at info@genguru.net.

6. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies for your theme and language preferences.

If you accept analytics cookies in our cookie banner, we load Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies to measure site traffic and ad campaign performance.
